➡Ingredients:

Âľ tsp. ground cinnamon
ÂĽ tsp. ground nutmeg
1 tbsp. pure maple syrup

âś…Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix until completely combined. If you are using roasted garlic, make sure you squeeze the garlic out of the bulb before mixing it with the butter to ensure none of the bulb paper gets into the mixing bowl.
2. If you are using fresh ingredients, the butter can store in the refrigerator for 5-7 days or in the freezer for 2-3 months.

đź””Storage Directions:
Option 1: Place in an airtight container
Option 2: Place compound butter on the edge of either plastic wrap or parchment paper. Using your hands shape into a log. Wrap tightly in the plastic wrap or parchment paper, while keeping the log shape. Place in refrigerator until firm, about an hour.
Option 3: If freezing, follow option 2 then wrap the log in tin foil to protect butter from aromas. Slice off pieces as needed.

đź””Grass-Fed Butters:
While you don’t have to use grass-fed butter I do recommend it. Butter from grass-fed cows contains more micronutrients (vitamins A, E, K, omega-3s) and conjugated linoleic acid (an immune booster) than butter from grain-fed cows. However it can be cost prohibitive. Just stay away from margarine!!!
