✅Grilled Portabella Pizza:
Total carbs per serving: 6g
Net carbs per serving: 4g
2 large Portobello caps (about 3 oz. each), stems and gills removed
Olive oil for brushing
Salt & pepper for taste
½ C Marinara sauce, divided
½ C Shredded mozzarella (whole milk), divided
48g pepperoni slices (about 28 thin slices), quartered and divided
Preheat grill to high
Remove stems and gills from Portobellos. Brush both sides with olive oil and season with salt & pepper (or seasoning of your choice). Place mushrooms on the grill, bottom side up first for about 2 minutes. Flip the mushroom and grill the bottom for another 2 minutes. Remove from grill and place on plate, bottom side up.
Next fill your mushroom with the sauce, cheese and pepperoni
Return mushroom to the grill cooking them indirect heat (charcoal grill) or on medium-high (gas grill); close the lid and cook for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
