1 Ripe Hass or California Avocado
1 ounce (2 tbsp.) cream cheese, full-fat
Juice from ½ a lemon
Fresh cracked pepper
1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1. Prep the avocado: Cut through the avocado lengthwise until your knife reaches the pit. Keeping the knife steady, rotate the avocado to make a cut all the way around the pit. Remove the knife and twist the avocado apart. Next remove the pit by slicing in half the part of the avocado with the pit. Pull the pit out. Next use a spoon and scoop out the flesh of the avocado. Either slice or dice and place on plate.
2. Cut the cream cheese into small cubes and toss on top of avocado.
3. Next add the anchovies on top; sprinkle with lemon juice, Tabasco, cracked pepper and olive oil.
4. Serve immediately.
